The Technology Department at Lawrence Sheriff is housed in a mixture of new and traditional facilities.  The older workshop has seen extensive improvements over the last few years expanding the range of equipment, meeting current health and safety legislation, redecoration and some change in emphasis related to its usage.

 

Newer rooms were added in March 1994.  These now consist of a plastics area, which is also used for CAD/CAM, an electronics area and a dedicated art and graphics room.

 

The department is also a large user of the ICT facilities, which comprise five networks all working on high specifications. 

 

 

Although the school is based upon a very academic background, Technology over the last ten years has developed into an area of high achievement and popularity.
