DofE Manager & Enrichment Coordinator
Scale 4 - points 18 – 21 (£18,070 FTE - £20,138 FTE), actual salary £8,328 PA pro rata
Part-time: 20 hours per week, term time and training days
with additional hours worked flexibly to accommodate peak periods of the programme and its varied workload

Lawrence Sheriff School is a boys’ grammar school of approximately 900 students, over 300 of whom are in the sixth form. We believe that much of our success - including our consistently high Ofsted grading and our high rankings in DFE performance tables - can be directly linked to our emphasis upon LSS being a happy place to work for both pupils and staff.

We are looking to recruit a DofE Manager and Enrichment Coordinator to start as soon as possible. The role will involve the management and coordination of the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme and the school’s extra-curricular Enrichment programme, to ensure the delivery of high quality DofE programmes and enrichment activities to students.

You will be highly proficient in the use of word processing, spreadsheets and databases with the ability to organise and plan effectively in order to deliver a complex programme.

Pastoral Coordinator
Salary Scale: Senior Officer 1 - points 29 to 31 (£25,951 FTE - £27,668 FTE), 
actual salary circa £24,038 per annum, pro rata.
Full time, 37 hours per week, term time and training days, 
plus an additional 3 weeks during the school holiday periods (42 weeks per year)

We are looking to recruit a Pastoral Coordinator to start as soon as possible. The role involves supporting students and staff on pastoral issues, working with outside Health Care agencies to enhance the physical and mental welfare and wellbeing of students and act as the Designated Safeguarding Lead for safeguarding children.

The successful candidate will have experience in working with young people, supporting students in their learning and encouraging positive attitudes and behaviour in and around school. You will have high level interpersonal skills in order to liaise with staff, students, parents and outside agencies and the ability to communicate with adults in difficult situations.
