Teaching School Hub
Coventry and Central Warwickshire now has its own Teaching School Hub. We are excited and honoured to be hosting the Hub here at Lawrence Sheriff School.
We are one of only 87 Teaching School Hubs in the country, designated by the Department for Education to provide high-quality professional development to teachers at all stages of their careers, and we will be working with all 250 schools in our region.
We are delighted to be working closely with a range of colleagues from a series of primary, secondary, special and early years delivery partners across Coventry and Central Warwickshire.
Teaching School Hubs are all about collaboration and the sharing of powerful teaching practice across the region. Please do not hesitate to contact us if you have programmes or skills that you would be interested in contributing.
The Coventry and Central Warwickshire Teaching School Hub offers the Golden Thread of teacher training support:
- Early Career Framework (ECF).
- The full suite of National Professional Qualifications (NPQs)
- Initial Teacher Training (ITT)
- Appropriate Body services for early career teachers
- Professional Development – a wide variety of training offers for teachers
